Catch Me If You Can Mountain Run ( 24 km run through the Mt Somers Sub alpine walkway )
Race Briefing & Rego will be the same time & place as the other events. The same rules will apply as for the Multisport and Duathlon Run Rules. We will be starting the runners at the Jig Rd Transition approx 10 min before the Multisport and Duathlon competitors get to the run transition approx 8.50 am. Runners will be asked to leave the briefing area at the same time as the Multisport and Duathlon support crews 7.45am.

(Note: Social/Corporate/Business category may have two runners. They can split the run any way they want one runner can run 3.5km into Woolshed Creek car park and run the last 3.5km from Sharplin falls car park to the Staveley Store and the other runner to run the 17 km walkway or run all the way to the store)| 25 km Road Cycle17 km River Kayak |2.2 km run & 10km cycle to finish at the Methven Resort

EVENT SUMMARY
Welcome to the Big Day At The Office Race - a Five Stage Multi-sport, Duathlon & Run event based around the Methven Foothills.
Multisport Race
Starting with a Stage 1 40km Road Cycle, a gradual climb of 180m then onto Stage 2 24km run, (well the run is fun! Up there with the best of them) through the Mount Somers Sub Alpine Walkway you will see a bit of everything the Canterbury back country has to offer, so make sure you wipe the sweat from your eyes and have a look around on your way.(Note: Social/Corporate/Business category may have two runners. They can split the run any way they want one runner can run 3.5km into Woolshed Creek car park and run the last 3.5km from Sharplin falls car park to the Staveley Store and the other runner to run the 17 km walkway or run all the way to the store)Stage 3  Then back onto your bike for 25 km sidling along the foothills down to the Rakaia Gorge to the Kayak transition. Stage 4 TBC  17km kayak. Kayakers will start on the North side of the Rakaia Gorge Bridge. Team Kayakers will have to tag their cyclist then run 150 meters to their kayak. The kayak leg is the same as the See ya Summer course. Stage 5 2.2 km run out of Lowe's cutting to your bike then a 10 km cycle to finish.
Duathlon
Duathlon Stage 1 & 2 the same as the Multisport Race. Stage 3 32km cycle following the Multisport course for 20 km then turning right at Mt Hutt Station to Methven to finish.
Run . 24 km Run through the Sub Alpine walkway with the Multisport and Duathlon competitors hot on your tail. Runners will be let go approx 10 mins in front of the Multisport and Duathlon competitors from Tranistion 2 on the Map (Jig Road). Don't foget race briefing will be at the Methven Race Course at 7.30 am


All competitors must be present to claim major drawn prizes.

Starter pack pick up:
Friday 25th Nov 6.30pm -8.00pm : (you still need to register on Saturday morning)
Registration & Starter pack pick up Saturday 26th Nov  6.00am-7.20 am : Methven Racecourse ( Please don't be late)
Race Briefing
7.30 am at the Racecourse
7.45 am Support crews to leave to Jig road transition ( Start of the Run)
Race Start: 8.00 am
Prize giving planned start 5.00pm -5.30 pm
We will be recognizing performance with Medals
All prizes will be spot prizes Major ones will be drawn at prize giving you will have to be there to claim them
